Rehabilitation & Resettlement

FF offers a win-win solution for sustained business expansion by addressing the host community’s rehabilitation and resettlement concerns through its Community Led Approach to Rehabilitation (CLeAR), which identifies the community as a ‘partner’ and not as ‘beneficiaries’ in development.

CLeAR believes in 3Rs that need to be addressed through community engagement

  • Relief
  • Rehabilitation
  • Reconstruction

Feedback Foundation offers a unique win-win solution for sustained business expansion by addressing the host community’s resettlement and rehabilitation concerns through its home-grown approach of Community Led Approach to Rehabilitation (CLeAR). The model works on the tenet that the community should be perceived as a partner and not as “beneficiaries”.

Conventional approaches to business expansion are transactional in nature and lay emphasis on relief packages to displaced / affected communities, which exacerbates the resistance amongst communities. CLeAR believes in 3Rs – Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction that need to be addressed through community engagement. Adopting the 3R approach ensures that emphasis is on ‘development’ and land acquisition merely becomes a step in the process which culminates in –

(a) better quality of life for the host community;

(b) sustainable business expansion for the public/private entities with positive PR and brand building and

(c) realization of economic and social reforms for the government.

R&R Implementation

FF works on R&R implementation through community engagement in the backdrop of developmental activities that are aimed at improving the lives of the land owners and resultant benefits for corporate. FF also ensures R&R process to become sure, smooth and sustainable, leading to win-win solutions for all stakeholders involved and it is different from conventional approach.

R&R Plan

Feedback Foundation handling this critical aspect, it frees up management bandwidth for client to focus resources on other tasks of project development. The Feedback approach allows client to dovetail relevant programs into its CSR agenda, thereby increasing its corporate social equity. With Feedback leading this crucial process, client will not get directly involved, hence minimizing chances of negative publicity. This process actually generates positive PR for the project.
